    From the laptop of Roy:
PGraph was accepted into, and is going to perform at The Providence Improv Festival in Rhode Island. Our slot is Friday, June 27th at 10PM. And we'll be doing French Farce.

Last year, TJ & Dave played, and they're pretty much at the top of my list of improv groups to see that I haven't seen yet. This year? I've got no idea yet. I think some sort of law was passed that Bassprov has to headline every improv festival in 2008, so that's my prediction, personally.

I'm researching plane ticket prices, and they're not looking great. For flying in Friday and leaving Sunday, I can't find anything cheaper than $388 per person. I'm sure with perseverence and daily searches, something will turn up, but if you have any leads, or some amazing connection you can exploit for us, please let me know.

LAFF was kicked off with a nice bang last night. Val and I did Adventure Squad! and it went over so so well. I couldn't have asked for a better crowd. They were all willing to buy into our silly little world and watch us unfold elementary school drama and hi-jinks. We're going to do that show again for sure. I know it was taped so when I get my hands on that, I'll upload it and post it. Brett, you would have loved it especially!

After that I watched all the other shows for the night, my favorites being Elaine (improv) and Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting (sketch). After the 8pm show I ran with the Elaine girls over to a bar and we all had a quick lemon drop shot. SBJM asked me to say a few lines offstage in their show so I did that. There were only two of them and one of them had to do a complicated change in the back so I guess she normally would have said the lines? Who knows. They did some absurd sketches, that, while a little crazy/chaotic, were really fun to watch. And they had the best facial expressions in the world, seriously. I thought the girls in Elaine played solid characters and had great stage presence. They were so friendly backstage and I had a good time talking at the party. We hung around the keg and talked backgrounds and theory.

Today is a panel discussion, group dinner, and more shows tonight. I'm doing the LAFF maestro with some of my favorite girls from Austin and my favorite out-of-town ladies from last night.
