About

Perfect Season had their debut October 29, 2006.  They specialize in duet longform improvisational theatre. So far they perform about once or twice every two months, as their other projects and troupes take up a lot of time. So if you're able to catch a Perfect Season show, you're in luck!

Kaci Beeler discovered the amazing power of improvisational theatre when she was 15 years old. Inspired by the budding Austin improv community, Kaci and some friends formed The Premier Improvisational Theatre Society (aka The PITS) at Westwood HS where they practiced and performed on a novice scale. In the summer of 2005 she re-discovered the Austin scene and began to take an active role. Now, hundreds of shows later, she is an avid performer and volunteer for the Austin Improv Collective. Kaci can be seen with resident troupes Parallelogramophonograph, The Dark Bloodlords, The Heroes of Comedy, Hoover's Blanket, and of course, Perfect Season

    Roy Janik

Roy headshotRoy Janik  started doing improv without realizing it. When he moved to Austin in 1999 he joined a group called The Knighthood of Buh, who's mission was to "do whatever we find amusing". This included impersonating bogus student organizations, staging peasant revolts at the UT Tower, founding a national holiday (No Pants Day) and filming sketch comedy. Only years later when taking his first improv class did Roy realize that he'd been doing it all along. Since then, he's done as much possible... from founding The Dark Bloodlords, a troupe specializing in Choose Your Own Adventure style stories, to putting on sketch with Hoover's Blanket, to playing improv games with the Heroes of Comedy on a weekly basis, to performing with his core troupe, Parallelogramophonograph in bars, theaters, and festivals. Perfect Season is Roy's first venture into 2 person improv, and he couldn't be more thrilled.
